Well we set off in the rain and rode for 2 hours in the rain (had to wonder what we were doing here) but it stopped 1 hour before lunch so only had a head wind which reduced us to 15 ks per hour to contend with.

Lunch was after 50 k’s and Marie thought a ride and chat with Phillipe was in order. The others had gone ahead so Mark, Peter, John and Grant set off down the wqrong road (hence we did 95 not 85 for the day!!) and it started to rain again.

We had patches of fine weather (one really beautiful spell for 10k’s along the river Creuse) before making it to argenton about 3;30 (so much for the rest day !!)

Marie, Mark and I set off for the laundramat (see photo above) I was despatched to the Carrefour for refreshments and got drenched on the way back - You cannot see my jeans in the photo as they are in the drier !!) 

Tomorrow a gentle 11o k’s (probably 120 to 130 :-)
