Deaville to Allencon 120 k,s
On the beach as we start, there are 11 of us on the ride which includes our two leaders.
This is to be our longest day, just like it was supposed to be for the D Day landing 65 years ago but that one got put off untill the 6th. We have seen lots of people over for the 65th anniversary, Americans, Canadians and Brits, lots of flags etc
This was our first full day on the bikes, with a 120km ride through Normandy to the town of Alencon, there were no major climbs but some some short steep sections especially as we traversed the river valleys
